GO SKATEBOARDING DAY JUNE 21STSunday June 21st is "Go Skateboarding Day." Every year we take to the streets for a full day of fun and friends. The actual plans and spots will be announced later this week, but if you cant tell the Bummer High Dudes have asked to join along that day to end their First Official Tour as a team. Have we posted THIS yet? Yes, everyone's favorite childrens book is the new Spike Jonze project, releasing later this Fall. In collaboration with Spike, Girl Skateboards is releasing a line of skateboards with the films release. " DEBACLE" drops this week, and limited High Def copies are available. Transworld Awards were yesterday, congrats to all the dudes that won. Check out the RED CARPET before the event. Make sure you do THIS.

OUT ON THE INTERSPACE This is my favorite time of year, right when school finally ends (not that im in school anymore), the weather gets nice, spots seem to pop up randomly and everyone is out skating enjoying what we do. Even though responsibilities can get in the way, make sure you take every opportunity to get out and ride around, because before you know it, THIS will be creepin in.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKENDWe kicked off the Summer right with this years OKC HOMETOWN HEROES event. We have a lot lined up like éS Game of Skate, GoSkateDay09, Bummer High Demo, High Ollie Contest, and maybe a video(s) for your viewing pleasure. Make sure you check back weekly to see what is going on.

So after a long wait, Devine Calloway officially is now on Etnies. I have inside sources that say, we should see some long awaited video footage soon. Remember This? Last weekend, Kyle, Taylor, & Rocky all made the drive to HTown to compete in Volcom's "Wild in The Parks" at Southside. Kyle let them Texans know OK can go big too. Montage Here.

HOMETOWN HEROES & AROCKALYPSE If you are not familiar with Hometown Heroes, it is a nationwide amatuer contest series, that travels the country hosting free contests, trying to find each regions top rippers, and sends them to the finals, this year at the XGames. There are tons of prizes, giveaways, free burritos, music and more. It is always a great event, and HH always asks Arockalypse to be their host in Oklahoma. Even if you dont want to come out and compete, you should at least come support your homies.

JANOSKI'S DROP FRIDAY! If you havent seen Stefan's Pro Model yet while combing the web, here it is, and it is available at AROCKALYPSE Friday May 8th. We are the only Skateshop in Oklahoma that offers NIKE SB. So get them while you can. The On Deck Art Show went off last week, and was a big hit. If you missed out on the opening night, to bad, but make sure and stop by to appreciate the art throguh the end of May.

SUMMER LINEUP First off a nice "Pat on the Back" to Kyle for placing 7th (out of 1 billion skaters) this past weekend at PHX AM. Im having DEJA VU?

We have several events in the works. First mark your calendars on April 23rd for the Annual "On Deck" Art Show at Arockalypse. Also mark May 24th, because HOMETOWN HEROES has asked us to host their stop in OK again. The winner will go to the Finals at the XGames. WHATS UP 2009Where to begin? It is sad that our first update of 2009 didnt come until February, but there has been a lot going on. Computer Crash, Christmas Business, 3 Weeks of Road Trips, and Ice Storms. Needless to say, I apologize for the procrastination.

2009 has gotten off to a killer start and the weather hasnt even been that nice. We have a ton of stuff planned for this year. Without getting ahead of ourselves, Demos, Premieres, Contests, DethRaces, Sales, Giveaways, and more are on the way for '09. Check back often tee see whats going on, and whats coming in.
